A journey through time

Our path takes us from Qaradh to the corners of three continents. Over the years, our family business has grown into a business family, bringing happiness to communities, in many different ways.

1938-1969
1938-1969

The story begins with our first retail shop in Qaradh. From there to Hodeidah, and onto Taiz, we expanded our reach, becoming our nation's first shipping company.

1969-1985
1969-1985

In 1970, we created the Yemen Company for Industry & Commerce. In '74, we launched our Frimex company in Dubai. We then spread to Europe, promoting trade internationally.

1985-2003
1985-2003

Over the years, our business would diversify, including agriculture and confectionery, and reaching the Far East. We also launched our Foundation for Science & Culture.

2003-Today
2003-Today

In the new millenium, we've gone further than ever, moving into infrastructure, cement and flour, while setting up business in Africa, solidifying our global position.
